S-8, r. 3 - By-law respecting the conditions for the leasing of dwellings in low-rental housing
Section 1
Disposition versions
1. In this By-law, unless the context indicates otherwise,
“dwelling” means low-rental housing within the meaning of the Civil Code; (logement)
“household” means one or several persons occupying a dwelling; (ménage)
“independent person” means a person of full age or an emancipated minor living with occupant 1; (personne indépendante)
“occupant 1” means the person who is the regular provider for the needs of the household or, in the case of an existing lease, the person identified as occupant 1; (occupant 1)
“occupant 2” means the independent person with the highest annual income, established in accordance with sections 3 and 4. (occupant 2)
